CENTER OF SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

One of the priority directions of the Center's activity is conducting training courses for entrepreneurs.

Upon completion of a training course (72 training hours), participants of the "Kharkov Technologies" Center training courses receive a State Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science (Licence No. 005948)

Training subjects include all aspects of entrepreneurial activity, but the "salt" of our training is an original programme "Commercialisation of Scientific Developments" for scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs that are engaged in the "high-tech" field and deal with innovation business. Besides, the Center specialists could develop a corporate training directed at solution of specific tasks that your enterprise faces.

More than 2000 people have passed training at the "Kharkov Technologies" Center by now.

Customers of the corporate trainings and seminars: Ukrainian and International Scientific and Technological Centers, USAID, Kharkov Regional State Administration, Kharkov Regional Employment Center, Technopark "Institute for Single Crystals" and many other organisations.

The Center organised training of participants of other training courses and programmes at Kharkov enterprises, pre-degree research for graduates of the Kharkov National Polytechnical University and Kharkov Economic University.

Training is organised according to a specially developed curricula that include the following modules: innovation entrepreneurship and modern technological transfer, fundamentals of macroeconomics and enterprise economics, legal regulation of activity of innovation enterprises, management of enterprise development, management and marketing of innovation activity, information technologies, etc.

Interactive methods of training are based on modern intensive training tools with the use of discussions and business games and also modern technical facilities, professional software and Internet, specially developed methodical and visual training materials, including multimedia ones. Students are provided with methodical materials in the form of brochures or compact disks.

Training is conducted by highly qualified faculty staff, doctors and candidates of science, managers of successful innovation enterprises, all of whom have a considerable teaching and practical experience.
The training course students have an opportunity to use library and reading hall facilities of the Institute for Single Crystals and "Kharkov Technologies" Center (periodicals and normative literature on urgent issues of entrepreneurial activity).
