International Investment and Innovation Forum. IT startups Boot Camp.
On June 6-7, 2013, the International Investment and Innovation Forum will take place in Lviv. Its aim is to combine ideas of entrepreneurs and experts with capabilities, knowledge and experience of investors for successful implementation of innovative technologies and investment projects. As part of the Forum, CRDF Global will host a two day IT Startup Boot Camp for promising “idea” and/or early-stage technology entrepreneurs. The Boot Camp will be an interactive program of intensive training and mentoring by US serial entrepreneurs and business development experts. The program will provide the participants with networking opportunities and important tools required to formulate and articulate a new venture/product or grow an existing one. At the end of the Boot Camp the participants will be invited to take part in 3i Start Up Award 2013 contest by pitching their ideas in front of the panel of experts. The contest 3i Start-up Award 2013 has now USD 10000 prize money. Among last year’s Boot Camp mentors were Marty Kaszubowski, president of General Ideas (USA), Warren Haber, Jr., Advisory Board Chairman Exoventure Associates (USA) and other distinguished professionals from the sphere of IT technologies and investments. Participation in the Startup Boot Camp and Forum for IT STARTUPS is free on the condition of: 1. registration at the Forum website http://iiif.com.ua/index.php/en/projects/startups 2. concept of the project sent us before May 10, 2013 3. taking part in the project selection at StartUpLine from 1.04 till 15.05 Among the organizers of the Forum are: CRDF Global; Lviv IT-BPO Cluster, representing the biggest IT companies in Ukraine; Lviv Startup Club, which united in the "Startup of communities" about 700 participants.
